1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms", "TOS") are an agreement between you and Canyon Lake Labs ("CLL", "we", "us"). By accessing or using any Canyon Lake Labs website, application, project build, server, download, communication channel or other service, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use Canyon Lake Labs services. If you use our services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
2. Who We Are and What This Covers
Canyon Lake Labs develops software, games and infrastructure, and operates the platforms it builds. Our work includes hosted services (Drive, OffiServices, GitClone, v86, Bug Reporter), games and projects (P2CECraft, OpenTag VR, AES and others), internal tooling, and experimental systems.
These Terms apply to all of the above, whether a project is released publicly, published as a build, hosted on our infrastructure, or run through a community server. Where a specific project adds its own rules, those rules apply in addition to these Terms.
We have grown since our early releases. These Terms now cover the company and its full catalogue of projects rather than any single title.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally permitted to use online services in your region, and old enough to consent to them under the law that applies to you. Where a service requires an account, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for everything done through your account.
One account may cover several services. Do not share accounts, sell them, or create them to evade a suspension or ban.
4. Acceptable Use
Canyon Lake Labs services are provided for personal, educational, experimental and entertainment use. You agree to use them lawfully and not to interfere with anyone else's use of them.
- No harassment, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse of any person or group.
- No bigotry, hate speech, or content intended to degrade a protected group.
- No impersonation of Canyon Lake Labs staff, developers, testers or representatives.
- No attempts to bypass security, exploit vulnerabilities, or gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data.
- No malware, phishing, deceptive downloads, or social engineering.
- No illegal activity, including fraud, identity theft, or unauthorised collection of personal data.
- No interference with our servers, tunnels, networks or experimental systems, including denial-of-service attempts.
5. Prohibited Content and Activity
You may not upload, post, host or transmit anything that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, sexually exploitative of minors, or that promotes violence or self-harm. You may not use our services to distribute stolen data, pirated files, or anything you do not have the right to share.
Automated scraping, bulk account creation, spam, and attempts to use our services as a proxy for abuse against another platform are prohibited. We may remove content and restrict access where this section is breached.
6. Project Downloads and Distribution
Canyon Lake Labs projects are distributed only through official Canyon Lake Labs channels. A build, installer or archive that claims to be ours but comes from somewhere else should be treated as unsafe and should be reported to us.
- Do not re-upload, mirror, repackage, re-sign or redistribute our builds without written permission.
- Do not modify our installers or alter files inside a distributed build.
- Do not pass off a modified build as an official release.
- Do not sell, licence or bundle our projects without written permission.
- Where a project is built from source you download, keep the licence and notices that ship with it intact.
Counterfeit builds that impersonate Canyon Lake Labs may be reported to the platforms hosting them.
7. Game Servers, Rooms and Multiplayer
Where a project has a server, room or lobby system, whether we host it or someone runs their own, the same conduct rules apply. Cheating, exploiting, griefing and map breaking are not allowed in public sessions, and any project-specific rules set by the host apply on top of these Terms.
Server owners who use Canyon Lake Labs software are responsible for how they run it and for the moderation of their own communities. We are not responsible for third-party servers, and we may refuse or withdraw access to our own infrastructure at any time.
8. Communication Channels
Our chat platforms, community servers and message channels exist for support, development and community discussion. The conduct rules above apply. Do not post other people's private information, do not advertise unrelated services, and do not use our channels to evade moderation elsewhere.
We may log and moderate these channels, and may restrict access where behaviour is disruptive or unsafe.
9. User Content and Uploads
When you upload files, text, images or other content to our services, you keep ownership of it. You grant Canyon Lake Labs the permissions needed to store it, serve it to you and to anyone you share it with, secure it, back it up, and operate the service that holds it.
You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and you accept responsibility for it. We may remove content that breaches these Terms or the law.
10. Third-Party Links, Tools and Content
Our services may link to, or interoperate with, content we do not own. Links to third-party downloads, games, mods, tools or invites may be reviewed before we accept or share them, and we may block, ignore or report anything unverified or unsafe.
Do not ask other users to install untrusted software or visit suspicious sites through our channels. We are not responsible for third-party content, even where we link to it.
11. Security, Reviews and Reporting
We may review files, links and accounts for security reasons, and we may scan, quarantine, block or remove anything we consider a risk to our users or infrastructure. Do not attempt to test, probe or attack our systems without written permission.
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, report it to us privately through the address in section 22 rather than exploiting it or disclosing it publicly. Good-faith reports are welcome and will not be treated as abuse.
12. Service Availability and Experimental Systems
Parts of Canyon Lake Labs run as experiments. Services and projects may be changed, limited, paused or discontinued at any time and without notice, and no uptime, performance or reliability guarantee is given for any of them.
Builds may be unfinished, unstable or incomplete. You accept that experimental software can behave unpredictably and that you use it at your own risk. Availability of any service does not create a commitment to keep it available.
13. Data Collection, Logs and Privacy
We collect the technical data needed to run and secure our services: account details, files you upload, usage and analytics, and technical and security logs. Our Privacy Policy explains this in detail and forms part of these Terms.
We do not sell personal data. Logs are retained for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention for as long as needed. Do not upload anything you do not want stored on our systems.
14. Monitoring and Enforcement
We may monitor our services for abuse, investigate suspected breaches, and act where these Terms are broken. Action may include a warning, content removal, feature limits, suspension, or a permanent restriction from some or all Canyon Lake Labs services.
We may cooperate with platform providers, hosting providers or law enforcement where illegal activity or a credible threat is involved. We may also act to protect the safety and integrity of our systems and community.
15. Suspension, Termination and Blacklists
You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these Terms, where your account is used abusively, or where we are required to by law.
Restrictions may extend across our platforms at our discretion, including account, chat, server and download access. Decisions are made to protect the service and its users, not as a punishment for its own sake, and persistent public disruption after a restriction is itself grounds to keep it in place.
16. Appeals
If you believe a restriction was applied in error, you may appeal using the contact address in section 22. Include the account or handle involved, the decision you are appealing, and why you believe it was wrong.
Appeals are reviewed by a person. We will confirm the outcome, and we may decline appeals that are abusive, repetitive or submitted without new information.
17. Intellectual Property and Branding
Canyon Lake Labs branding, logos, website content, documentation, project names, builds and system designs are the property of Canyon Lake Labs unless stated otherwise. You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify or use them in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without written permission.
Where a project is released under its own licence, that licence governs the code. This section governs our names, marks and branding, which are never licensed for reuse without permission.
18. Copyright and Takedown Requests
Canyon Lake Labs allows developers to host and distribute their own content through our services. If you believe your copyrighted material has been uploaded, copied, redistributed or used without authorisation, you may request a takedown.
Requests may cover unauthorised uploads of your files or builds, redistribution of your releases, use of your assets, branding or code, and cloned or derivative works that infringe your work.
To file a takedown request, email support@canyonlakelabs.com. The request must identify the copyrighted work, give direct links to the infringing content, show ownership or authorship, and include a good-faith statement that the report is accurate.
On a valid request we may remove or restrict the content, notify the uploader, and take further action where needed. We may decline or ask for clarification on incomplete or invalid submissions, and we may act against repeat infringers.
19. Disclaimer of Warranty
Canyon Lake Labs services and project builds are provided "as-is" and "as-available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that any service will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, nor that defects will be corrected. You use our services at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own backups of anything you store with us.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canyon Lake Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use our services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question, which for free services is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
21. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Canyon Lake Labs harmless from claims, damages, losses and costs arising from your use of our services, your content, or your breach of these Terms, including claims brought by third parties over something you uploaded or distributed.
22. Changes, Governing Terms and Contact
We may update these Terms at any time. The version published on this page is the one in force, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's location, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
